Marni Wieshofer

Marni Wieshofer is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at Media Rights Capital. Responsible for identifying new entertainment ventures and acquisitions, Marni Wieshofer is a seasoned entertainment industry executive with over twenty years experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and tax and accounting.

Before joining Media Rights Capital, Marni Wieshofer was the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Lionsgate. At Lionsgate, Marni Wieshofer facilitated the integration of Trimark Pictures, Artisan Entertainment, Redbus Films Distribution U.K., Debmar/Mercury, Break.com and Mandate Pictures as well as the sale of Lionsgate Studios.

Prior to Lionsgate, Marni Wieshofer was the Vice President of Finance at Alliance Atlantis Communications Corporation. At Alliance Atlantis, Marni Wieshofer was a member of the deal team that facilitated the Alliance Atlantis merger, took Alliance public in the United States and orchestrated several debt and warrants offerings.

Before becoming an entertainment industry executive, Marni Wieshofer was a Principal at Coopers & Lybrand Chartered Accountants. Marni Wieshofer holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario.
